I am researching the following families:

Thirkill / Thirkell and all variants of the name who originated from Boroughbridge, Dishforth, Galwhey, Grewelthorpe, Harewood, Kirkby Malzeard, Kirby Fleetham, Kirby Hill, Newton/Linton upon Ouse, Ripon, Thirsk, Topcliffe and surrounding villages in North Yorkshire.

Sutliffe / Sutcliffe who at the beginning of the 1800's originated from Aldborough, Boroughbridge, Great Ouseburn and surrounding villages in North Yorkshire.

Cook whose origins are unknown but who at the beginning of the 1800's lived in Kingston-upon-Hull, East Yorkshire.

Lee who originated from Brixham, Devon and who moved to Kingston-upon-Hull, East Yorkshire in the middle of the 1800's.

Any information on these families would be appreciated. I am willing to share the information I have.
