Includes NotesNotes for June Louvinnia Hanna:
June and Parker lived on their farm 10 miles south of Landis Saskatoon Canada until their retirement when they moved into Biggar. They were never ready to leave the farm but know when the time was right it had to Happen. They always missed the country and their neighbors.

June loved to grow huge gardens, most of which she enjoyed giving away to friends and neighbors. Parker raised cattle most of his farming years as well as some grain farming. they enjoyed their summers at their cabin at Cochlin, where they fished, boated, golfed, and entertained the family. During many winters, they would snowmobile around the farming neighborhood to visit friends. Community card parties were common in the days before TV.

June and Parker were both involved in community organizations, whether it be the pin wherry Community Club, or many other groups, especially within the Co-operative movement. They helped raise funds to open the Community Clinic in Biggar, during the doctor's strike of 1962.

June was Parker's truck driver in harvest season, with he ball cap on, and peering out above the steering wheel, which she was barely able to see over. When visitors arrived unexpectedly, often in the busy season, she could chop the heads off some chickens and have her famous fried chicken on the table before company was out of the car. Then she would head back to the field for the next load while company enjoyed the feast.
