THE EDGMON FAMILY OF ARKANSAS
DESENDENTS OF WALTER EDGMON

This Family history is in no means complete but have gathered information that I hope will help my children and grandchildren have some knowledge of both grandparents. Have been gathering information of my mothers family William Hodge and wife Mandie Sparks. I started some of my work before my mother passed away in May of 2002 because she was the one that told the most about
her child hood days in the mountains of Arkansas. Also once I started seeing all the wonderful information that my family would loose with each generation being gone and not being able to tell their own story I decided I needed to do this for my children and family members. My dad's family on his mothers side was Sams. So when I bought the Family descents history of Warren Sams I felt that I had found some more links for my family. It also helped me with my grandmother Darcus Sams Edgmon who I never met. Also have gattered information for my children on husband family Oran Jack Counts & Betty Lois Lettau.
I know that our story will go on and much history and knowledge will be gained from sharing what I have learned. If Something is in correct in the information I do appologize. Please let me know so that we can correct it so the story is correct and the record stays correct.
