I have completed limited research into my family therefore the only positive information is that my G-father Allen Richard Covington was born December 20 1984 in Baltimore, MD. He Married Pearl Edith Shaffer July 25, 1908 in Grafton, WV. My father Burton Earl Covington Sr. was born August 25, 1912 in Mill Creek, WV. He Married Mabel Virginia Jeffers B: 5/5/1915 November 14, 1931 in Wellsburg, WV. I was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio June 23, 1941. I think that my GG-father name was George Covington and he married Cora Lee shelton. No documented informaton has been located. My mother's parents were Thomas James Jeffers B:July 27, 1890 Where unknown, and Winifred Susan Bethel December 23, 1892, Maynard, Belmont County, OH. Thomas Jeffers' father and mother were William Jeffers and Elizabeth Ann Briggs. No other information available. GG-parents on the Bethel side were George Bethel December 6, 1959, Staffordshire County, Dudley, England and Jane Davies, December 26, 1865, Cardiff, Wales
