Have just begun our family research and have a long way to go. Any information or assistance is greatly appreciated.
Our search starts in Oklahoma with the surnames Cowart, Brown, Davis, and also in Texas & Alabama with Howell, Pearce & Godfrey. I’m happy if I can find the links/information for the names I already have and get it correctly.
My BIGGEST wall so far is: Jesse Samuel Cowart aka: Sam Cowart born est. 1886 in Arkansas and married Myrtle Iva Godfrey in Oklahoma May 13, 1908. They had 2 children; Jessie Jewell and Ralph Godfrey. I have been unable to locate any information/family on him after his marriage to Myrtle.
I do know that with this research I will find friends and family that will build bonds to last a lifetime….
