My mother, Roxie Ann Robinson Moore is the youngest known child of George Robinson and the last surviving. It's reported that Old George was married 5 times and had 54 children, 53 before my mom. He died in 1942 at the age of 108. Very interesting man, to say the least, and my best source of information is my mother. She is now 92 years old. Old George was 84 years old when she was born. When she was very young, old George went to live elsewhere, therefore, it's not so strange that she knows very little about him or his family. However, she also knows very little about her mother. Seems old George's family reportedly came from somewhere over by India, and alas, were people of color. Since it's reported that her mother was in fact a white woman, things didn't bode too well for free exchanges of information during the time they lived. In fact, trying to find out ANYTHING about this family's ancestors is proving to be a very daunting task. But, I will perservere.
