The Cox Family Crestview, Florida Updated April 25, 2003
About Our Family Research
My father was Millage Frank Cox and was an only child born to Charles Cox and Myrtice Powell Cox. He was in local politics most of his life. His first elected office was as a City Councilman for the City of Crestview, Florida. At the time, he was the youngest person to hold that office. He was elected as a School Board Member and became the Superintendent of the School Board for Okaloosa County. He also served as Mayor of Crestview in his later years. In addition to his political career, he owned and operated, with my Mother, Amy Jo Moseley Cox, the Crestview Venetian Blind and Chain Link Fence Company in Crestview, Florida.
