Alma Andrew daughter of Gavin Andrew, son of William Andrew of Kilmarnock, Scotland. She is my mother and married Aaron Hale Cronkhite who died in Arizona in 1928. The Andrew family, William Andrew and wife Elizabeth Walker with children,Elizabeth born 1845; William born 1847; Gavin born 1850; Mary born 1852; and Francis born 18654; all in Scotland., Came to Michigan in 1860. We have looked for them for 40 years and just now found they possible went to Canada about 1870. Gavin earned a mining degree in Michigan and went on to Utah where he woked as a mining engineer in Park city, Utah. He died there at age 36 years of age, leaving daughter Alma Andrew and Gavin Andrew jr. I am looking for the descendents of the Andrew members who possibly came into Ontario and Manitoba counties.
