It should be 27, as he was born in 1884.285, 286, 286, daughter of Charles Richard Wedge and Zillah Lippitt.

Marriage certificate shows him to be 25 in 1911. His death certificate, in 1937, shows him to be 53. This gives two different dates for his birth, 1884 and 1886. St. Chad's church stood on the corner of Shireland Road and Edith Road, Smethwick. It was built in 1900 and demolished in 1968. A 'Jet garage now stands on the site. (2010)
