Daniel Dolman (son of Joseph Dolman and Evelyn Wedge)^{192, 193} was born 1916 in 72 Reynolds Street, Smethwick^{194, 195}, and died 07 Apr 1945 in Germany.^{196, 197}. He married Doris May Middleton.

It was always said that Dan was shot dead by a German sniper.
His name can be found in the 'Book of Remembrance' in Smethwick library.
Buried at Becklingen War Cemetery, Germany. His grave reference (CWGC) is 15.C.13.
The cemetary is on the SOLTAU - BERGEN road, about 17 miles from Soltau.
