Alfred J. Smith (b. Abt. 1899, d. Abt. 1954)

Alfred J. Smith (son of Alfred Smith and Harriet Hiller)^{879, 880} was born Abt. 1899 in Smethwick, Staffordshire, and died Abt. 1954 in Smethwick, Staffordshire. He married Evelyn Wedge in Smethwick, Staffordshire^{881, 882, 883}, daughter of Charles Richard Wedge and Zillah Lippitt.

Notes for Alfred J. Smith:
On Evelyn's death certificate, it indicates Alfred's address as 23 Chaddesley Close, Lion Farm Estate, Oldbury. This is incorrect. Alfred was living at 24 Old Chapel Road, Smethwick when he died. Evelyn didn't move to the Lion Farm Estate until the 1970s. Prior to that, she lived at Dawes Avenue, off Kelvin Way, West Bromwich. Evelyn's death certificate also indicates that she was born in 1891, instead of 1890.
