KAREN'S FAMILY FRAGMENTS

Updated July 2, 2002

**ADDED CROCKETT REPORT MARCH 2001**

Hi Everyone! My name is Karen Crocker, and I have been researching various branches of my family tree for over 3 years now and have come across a lot of very helpful people along the way. I'm hoping I can help others in the same way.
There are bound to be mistakes in these trees as I gain new information, so please confirm your research with other sources.

Major surnames I'm involved with are:
*ANGEL(Eng>TN>IL>RI); *CROCKETT(Eng>ME>CAN>MA>RI); *SARGENT(Scot>CAN>RI); *TESKE(Prussia>IN) and; *HARTFIELD(IL>MT>IL>FL>RI>VA>ME).
Others are: Bruce; MacKenzie; McIntosh; and Meierdirk;
Contact me privately for CROCKER information, for it will take
me a long time to input everything. They are from Barnstable, MA. and came up to Maine.

Don't hesitate to contact me. I might have more information to
share with you! Take care, and happy hunting!

Family Photos

  • Nathan E. & Frances Sargent (196 KB)
This is a picture of my great-grandparents, Nathan & Frances (Bruce) Sargent. It was probably taken in New York during the early 40's. I don't know who the couple and the child are...email me if you recognize them please!
  • Gardner & Alice Sargent's 50th Wedding Anniversary (483 KB)
My mother's parents were born and raised in Newport, RI. In 1931, they and another couple eloped in Connecticut!
  • POSTCARD of George A. Hartfield, Jr. -- 09/12/11 (675 KB)
George August Hartfield, Jr. is one of my father's uncles. He was born on October 10, 1889 in Chicago, Illinois.
  • Roy C. Hartfield, Sr. 1919 (210 KB)
My father's dad was gased in France in WWI. He was in the 35th(?) Div. in Illinois. Still researching his military record.
  • Unknown HARTFIELD(?) Help Me Identify Her! (125 KB)
This picture was found amongst my grandfather's belongings when he passed away in 1972. Could she be his sister, Grace?
  • Roy C. Hartfield, Sr. 1940's (?) (149 KB)
This is my grandfather, Roy C. Hartfield, pictured with his second wife, who, as you can tell, got "cut out" of the picture...unfortunately or not, it was divorce. But it's still a good picture of him--which is why he probably kept it!
