I began doing a search of my Maternal Grandmother's family and I am still in the process of researching that branch of the family tree - (she was a Landry and married a Clough). The Morrison Branch (my father's family tree) has been done by Clinton Morrison Jr. and holds a wealth of knowledge and is a joy to read. "Emigrant From The Highlands", was published in 1978. Maybe someday I'll be done....but I hope not. Our past is such an important part of who we are, and our children need to know where they come from before they know where they are going.
I would love to find someone out there that I have a connection with across the miles.
