I have been tracing my tree on both sides, these being and including Scotland Brechin,Ayrshire, Devon Ugbrough. These families are Christies, Strachan, Fox, Cumming Beable. I am a voulnteer librian at the Latter Day Saints Libray for the past 12 years. I have written the family as I know it on both sides ie the Christies and Strachans and Cumming and Fox.My Great Grandfather Alexander Cumming came to Australia in 1849 on the ship "Caroline Agnes" he was 17 and was from the Ragged School for Boys in London. My mother was a Strachan and her family arrived in South Australia in 1888, and then lived in Adelaide before moving to Wentworth New South Wales,he was a Baker. The came to Australia with the Christie family from Brechin,Angus, Scotland. I have much more detail and am looking forward to meeting other lost relatives. The Fox family came from ugborough, Devon and arreived in Australis in 1852 on the Ship"Hornet" there were three sisters, Charlotte, Sarah,and Louisa, their brother George migrated prior to that dats and lived in Ballarat, Victoria.
