Herman James MULLER (son of Clemence Victor MULLER and Josephina Philomena HUNKLER) and Cecilia Anna CUNNINGHAM (daughter of Joseph Hugh CUNNINGHAM and Rosa Amelia UMSCHEID) met and married in Flush, Pottawatomie County, Kansas in 1924. Clemence V. MULLER was born in Leo,Allen County, Indiana, lived in Coon Rapids, Carroll County, Iowa, and married Josephine in Carroll County, Iowa. Henry John Peter MULLER and Martha Ann BALLOU (Daughter of James Ballou, VI and Clarissa DUNTEN)were the parents of Clemence. HJP and Martha were born in Allen County, Indiana and were married in Huntertown, Allen County, Indiana. HJP's parents were William Engelbert Michael Francis MULLER and Marianna Kanzen. VINCENT UMSCHEID and ANNA LOUISE RYFFEL settled in the Rock Creek Valley, (Flush, Kansas) Pottawatomie County, Kansas, area in the early 1860s. VINCENT UMSCHEID had a first cousin JOHN JOSEPH UMSCHEID who also settled in the same area. Vincent and John Joseph were from Grossheubach, Bavaria, Germany. ANNA LOUISE RYFFEL was from Zurich, Switzerland. |
