We are interested in information concerning surnames Cusack, Light, Partelow, and Schmeisner from the New York City/Westchester County area and Elmore from North or South Carolina and Alabama.The Cusack and Schmeisner families emigratted to the US in the 1890's and settled in NYC. The other family names go back to the 1700's in the US.The Cusack family is origially Irish and the Schmeisner family is from Germany.The Elmore family was stationed in Panama during the building of the Panama Canal and is related to Edward Carrington Elmore who served as the treasurer of the Confederacy.
