From Canada and Ireland to Deerfield, Lebanon and Beyond

Updated June 8, 2008

About Our Family Research

This is a discovery prompted by research into the Gosselin family of Quebec, my grandmother's family. This led to Deerfield, MA and the legendary exploits of my ancestores during the french and Indian War. My grandmother's family were the pioneering first family of Canada. Ross bought for me the Companions of Champlain and i have discoverd The Heberts in Irene Gosselin's line were the frst family to settle in Canada or New france. Then come the Roys and Gosselinns, not to mention the Martins. A large swath of any early settlers to Canada were my relatives. Even the frontiers of New England were home to my brave , adventurous ancestors.
