My parents, Robinson and Nancy Clark adopted me soon after I was born February 22, 1957. This Family History is about my adopted family. It is not about my biological family. My parents had already adopted my older brother, David "Jeff" Jeffries Clark, who was born February 10, 1955. Later, they adopted John Robinson Clark (born June 26, 1961) and then Judith Wakefield Clark (born September 28, 1962). We lived in Holyoke, MA until 1973 when we moved to Marco Island, Florida. All of us attended Holyoke Public Schools, except I attended Williston Academy in Easthampton, MA for one year (1972-1973).
My brother, Jeff, married in August 1975 (Miami, Florida) to Colleen (?). They adopted a daughter, Joanna Leigh Clark (born October 11, 1980). Later they divorced and Jeff and Joanna moved to Hardwick, Vermont. He got re-married to Cassandra Lacoss in July 1993. They had a son, Michael David Clark in May 1993. Unfortunately, he was very ill by this time and passed away October 1993 from cancer.
I married in December 1975 (Marco Island, Florida) to Edward T. Dahnke and my son, Michael Thomas Dahnke was born September 1, 1979. Ed and I were divorced in 1981 and I returned to Florida. Mike and I moved to Branford, Connecticut, in July 1989 and I married Terry D. Young on January 20, 1991.
My brother, John, has not married as of yet (Sept. 2000) and as far as I know, does not have any children.
My sister, Judy, was married in August, 1990 to Michael Thompson in Marco Island, Florida. Judy had a son, Justin H. Clark on January 6, 1982. Both of my parents, Robinson & Nancy Clark, are deceased. My dad passed on in 1986 and my mother in 1990.
