William Joesph Dalton and Catherine Florence Delouchry married on October 18, 1948

Both families originate in Ireland, the first Delouchry in Canada (aka Deloughry) was Michael born about 1769 in Kilkenny Co. Ireland to James Deloughry and Catherine Cassin. He married Mary Smith (Born 1781 Bay of Bulls,NFLD)on 17 Nov 1806 in St.Peter's Church, Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The Dalton's originally emmigrated to in NFLD but Matthew grew up in Botsford, Westmorland Co NB then moved to Amherst where he appears on the 1911 Census with his wife Elizabeth Mahoney, son William Matthew,and daughter Annie, George and James Edward were not at home. William Matthew married Alice May Cahill in Halifax 1917.

There are 8 surviving children of William J and Catherine F. Catherine M, William J, Alice A., Mary R., John S., Jean M., Gregory M., and James E. and they are working on the seventh generation.
