The Richard D'Aquin's of New Orleans Louisiana

Updated November 16, 2000

About Our Family Research

The D'Aquins have been in in the New Orleans area for hundreds of years. My grandparents' relatives came from France in the 1800's. My grandmother, Anna spoke fluent french because it was the only language that her mother spoke. My grandparents raised five children. They are Mary Louise, Elmo, Marilyn, Richard and Patricia. They all had three children except for Richard who is my father. He only had one child. That makes for 13 grandchildren. At last count there were 11 great-grand children. We have not been together in a very long time, since my grandparents died. What a shame that we only see one another at funernals.
