Curtis family from Coleman, Mi to New York and in between

This has been an interesting journey. I have learned so many things about my ancestors in the last few years. I have found the resting place of my gggrandmother Hannah M. Curtis and shared it with you. Now I'd like to introduce you to her son Dante and her daughter Mary Amy.
It seems the more info I find, the more questions I come up with!!
I have discovered that Jerome L. Curtiss is buried in Arlington National Cemetery but was never issued a headstone. No information about him has been entered into any of the cemetery files. I have written letters and am awaiting responses. I'll let you all know when I hear anything. A man who was shot 3 times in service to this country deserves a proper headstone and some kind of recognition, don't you think?
I'll post things as I find them. Please write and introduce yourself and I would really like to hear your family info, too!!
