Have started a family tree and researching our family..on my dad's side, we have run into a deadend..William Daugherty b.1811
in Alabama is my great great grandfather and we have no info on
his parents or siblings (if any) so we can't go back any farther.
Have appox 250 name database now and still expanding, looking
forward to filling in missing dates and names. Would love for
any Copelands, Daughertys, Ratterrees, or Williams who have any
additional info, or may correct my info, to offer their input.
Only two years ago, we discovered an entire branch of our tree
living in the Bingen/Nashville,AR area that the people in Pine
Bluff,AR didn't know existed and this has been an exciting and
rewarding find, not only to meet and talk with these people but
to discover my great grandfather had married twice. Have an oral history of Choctaw Indian heritage but so far unable to find any connection or link to them, we have posted on message boards but no response to date and we keep hoping.
