John Daugherty of Beaver County, PA (circa 1740-1848)

This site is dedicated to researching and preserving the history of John Daugherty, Irish Catholic immigrant from Northern Ireland to the United States, at the end of the 18th century. Also researching two of his brothers, Edward and Manasseh Daugherty and families. John Daugherty married late in life to Nancy (Unknown). He was 80 years old at the time. This was his second marriage. His first family is unknown at this time. A Daugherty Family reunion is held annually in October at Point Pleasant, WV. The descendents of John Daugherty can be found in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, North Carolina, Colorado and many other states. Beaver County, Pennsylvania is the home county for this John Daugherty. John Daugherty died there around 1848 at the age of 108 years. This website is dedicated to his memory.
