George immigrated to British Columbia,Canada with his wife Rosina Warner and their four children,George,James,David and Elisabeth in August of 1860.George and Rosina were the first lighthouse keepers in the province of British Columbia,serving at both Race Rocks and Fisgard lighthouses.George died in 1866 at Race Rocks.Rosina later became Mrs.Rosina Harman. Some surnames connected: Clark,Neilson,Crawshaw,Guilette,Dods,Dixon,Warner,Jenner, Maynard,Harris,Allan,Findlay,Farrell.
