James Hasker Dawson was born in Paris, Tenn. July 7, 1861. James married Mollie M. Darden who was born 1861 in Searcy, Ark. They moved to Coffeyville, Kansas in Dec. of 1898. James and Mollie's children were Bertha, Effie, Leonard (who died when a baby), Esther Emma, Lennie, Idamay and Percy A. Dawson. James was a carpenter. He died Aug. 17, 1923. Mollie died Oct. 17, 1955

Bertha McClay Dawson(Ingram) was born in Searcy, Ark. she died April 27, 1951. Bertha married Tymothy Ingram who was a farmer and railroad mail clerk, their children were Mildried Lucille Ingram, Tymothy Adolphus Ingram and Vera Ingram (Starr)
Effie Williams Dawson(Gilbert)was born in Searcy, Ark. Effie married James Gilbert who was a carpenter and ran a trucking business, their child was Thelma Gilbert(Scawten)(Scouten)???
Esther Emma Dawson(Whittaker) was born in Searcy, Ark. Esther married Dr. Richard S. Whittaker who was an ear , nose and throat physician, their child was James S. Whittaker
Lennie Dawson(Bell) was born in Okmulgee, Ok. she died Jan. 19, 1944. Lennie married Aurthur Rapier Bell who was a carpenter, their child was Authur Rapier Bell II
Idamay Dawson(Hughes) was born in Talaquah, Ok. Idamay married Horace Hughes a Professor at The University of Texas. He taught in Ok., their child was Julius Hughes
Percy A.(George)Dawson (my grandfather) was born in Coffeyville, Ka. July 7, 1926 and died Sept. 22, 1977 Percy who changed his name to George married Lillian Ellison, their children were Percy Jr. and Robert James Dawson (my dad) Jeffrey L. Dawson
