THE DAY, STEWART, WALLACE FAMILY TREES

Updated January 26, 2001

About Our Family Research

The Day family came to Ontario from New Jersey by way of New Brunswick, probably UE Loyalists. Would like to know when they came to USA. Did some of them come by way of Barbados?

The Stewarts came to Annan in the mid 1850's from Scotland. Who came over with Donald Stewart in the 1840's? Where did they come from - was it Caitland, Scotland?

The Wallaces, I believe, came from Scotland,. Thomas Wallace is a name I have. The Wallaces settled in Mt. Forest, Ontario. Whether they came directly to Mt. Forest I do not know.
