The adoption records were found in Wayne County for my mother, Betty Ann Martynow (Trembley). The original birth certificate was sent to me by the State of Michigan. Family prior to my mother's adoption was received through Ancestry.com Detroit Census of 1900, 1910, 1920 and 1930. The Detroit Census of 1940 will be released in 2012 after it reaches 72 yrs. old per Federal law.

Contact with Catholic Social Services and their investigation gave information from the orphanage on her real mother and father and about her mother, Marvel Conners family.

A phone conversation with Carl Conners, my mother's uncle on 12/16/07 gave a lot of information.
