Jackie's Family Research-Hale,Kale,Row,Haynes & Van De Riet

Updated March 29, 2002

About Our Family Research

I have mostly been compiling research for the Hale and Row sides of the family, both connections through my Grandmother, LaVonne Van De Riet Haynes. However, I also have information on surnames through my mother: Heagy, Ely, McCann, Schlomer, Coffin, Bloom, Cooper and others
or through my father: Haynes, Van De Riet, Wiggers, Kale, Hale, Barton, Poole, Nice, Drake, Cheney, Potter and others.

My husband has some information on surnames Day, Lee, and others.
This information is usually not completely current since I am always researching further.

Family Trees (viewing trees requires 4.0 or later browser)
  • Herman Van De Riet's ancestors (74 KB)
This tree contains all info that I know so far about Herman Van De Riet and his family that came to America from the Netherlands. There are very very few Van De Riets in the United States today, and although there are many spellings/capitalizations, almost all are related to this line. Much of this tree is footnoted and has research and biographical notes.
  • Jaclyn Haynes Day's ancestors (98 KB)
This tree leaves out most of my mother's family since the file was getting too big. I have also left out a few lines that have their own files. Much of the Row, Nice, and some Haynes info is contained in this one.
  • Hiram Hale of Iowa and his ancestors (77 KB)
Most of this research is also documented with many biographical and research notes that probably don't show up in this program. Please contact me if interested. This tree contains Hales and Bartons with some Pooles.
