I am a true decendant of American Adventurers. From Pilgrims, to Revolutionary Patriots, accused witches to whalers and ship builders. My family first came to America from England in 1634. I decend from the early Massachusetts' settler, Robert Day.
A daughter's school assignment started me down this journey of searching for ancestors. A family story handed down through the generations of a Great-Great-Great Grandfather who was a revolutionary soldier was the holy grail from which I started this challenge.
Now 10 years later and numerous new discoveries that has kept the fever going, the elusive missing relative is the next unexpected new discovey of tomorrow. The creme-d'le-creme is the multitude of old photos that I have covinced the "cousins" to allow me to digitally scan and share them with the next new cousin.
From my English roots, my family roots grew by the "new" pilgrims that came to the new country in the early and mid 1800's. From France, Germany and Norway, my family is truely an American tale.
