Richard ("Dick") is oldest son of Joseph Allen and Sarah Marlin (Ruppert) Dayringer. He was born in Carthage, MO on Feb. 3, 1934. He has two brothers: James Allen, born Oct. 4, 1935 and Edgar Joe, born Aug. 15, 1944; and two sisters: Judith Ann, born Oct. 28, 1946 and Nancy Jane, born Aug. 20, 1951.
Joseph, Richard's father was born in Carthage on Mar. 28, 1914. He was the third child and second son of Landon Carter and Myrtle (Pugh) Dayringer. His older brother, Roy, was the only other of the four children to survive childhood. He married Edith Irwin and had three children: Betty, Joan, and Don.
Sarah was born in Pierce City, MO on Jan. 12, 1918. She was the youngest of three children born to Otto and Clara (Longley) Ruppert. She had two brothers: Ed and Mance ("Duke").
Janet, Richard's wife, is the second of five children born to Jack and Alma Evaline ("Evelyn") (Etter) Hymer. Her older brother was Jack Leonard, born May 22, 1931. Her sister, Dixie Ann Knowles was born Aug. 25, 1938. Her younger brothers: William Ray , born Mar. 3, 1941; and Ronald Charles, born 21, 1945.
Janet's father was born in Joplin, MO on Jan. 24, 1908. He was the second oldest of nine born to Thomas and Della (Atkins) Hymer. He had three brothers: Clyde, Ted, and Albert; and five sisters: Louise, Josephine, Freda, Gracelyn, and Gladys June.
Evelyn was born in Monet, MO on Mar. 24, 1912. She was the oldest of eight born to John and Annie (McPeak) Etter. She had four brothers: Alvin, James Hugh, Orville, and Glen; and three sisters: Leva, Lela, Letha.
Dick and Janet have five children: Stephen Lee, born May 15, 1953; David Carter, born Dec. 25, 1954; Deborah Evelyn, born Oct. 7, 1958; Daniel Hymer, born Apr. 14, 1964; and James Ray, born Oct. 19, 1967.
Steve married Nancy (Horn) and has one daughter, Evelyn Ann ("Eve") born Sept. 28, 1989.
Dave married Ann (Swartwood) and had Jason Carter, born Dec. 8, 1977; then married Sandra (Snead) and had two daughters: Sara Nicole, born Jan. 18, 1958 and Katie Lynn, born Mar. 1, 1986.
Deby married Gene Burns and had two sons: Joshua Beau, born Jun. 15, 1980 and Richard Ezekiel, born Jun. 26, 1994.
Dan married Rhonda (Jolivette) and had Landan Dallas, born Dec. 11, 1995.
James married Veronika (Tulipan).
