I am seeking information on relatives of my great grandfather, William Walter Day born. 2 Jun 1842 in Walsall, England. He left England as a soldier arriving in New Zealand on 20 Jun 1860. He left the Army and married Elizabeth Wheeler Cray on 11 Jul 1866. They had 9 children before leaving New Zealand for California between 5 May 1881 and 20 Jun 1881. Three more children were born in Salt Lake City, Utah between 17 Oct 1881 and 21 Jan 1886. He became a US citizen in San Bernardino, CA. on 1 Oct 1888. Another child was born 2 May 1891. He received permission on 6 Dec 1894 to leave Costa Rica for New Orleans, LA. William Walter Day died in Portland, OR on 4 May 1916. As you can see, there are many gaps.
