Alick Stocker was my father. He was born in Broken Hill NSW in Australia on 2/10/1917, but then moved with his family to South Australia where he lived until his first marriage ended. He then married my mother on 13/10/1951 in Birdwood SA and they moved to Horsham Victoria where they lived until their deaths. My father died on 18/11/1987.
My father never spoke much about his family, and only ever mentioned his parents. Because of this I know next to nothing about any of his family and would dearly love to trace his ancestry back as far as I can. I would also love to trace all his living relatives with the view to being able to meet and have contact with them. I feel that part of my life has been missing.
Years ago I undertook some research and traced his ancestry back to Cornwall UK but could go no further. What I did discover was very limited, and there are still so many unanswered questions.
