My genealogical research covers several decades, but it began in earnest when my father gave me an unpublished manuscript created by his cousin, Margaret McConnell Snyder of Branchport, NY. Margaret had lived with her grandparents and became not only the receipient of many heirlooms, but also an eager listener of old family tales. We will be forever indebted to Margaret for passing our history on to us.

As with most genealogical research, this should be considered a "work in progress."
