This is an attempt to trace the ancestors of the Gleadell family members who appear to have originated in the Lincolnshire area of England in the early 1700's. The Gleadell's are on my mothers side of the family.

It is also an attempt to trace my mother's mother side of the family who are the MacAskill's who came from the Isle of Lewis in Scotland.

I will endevour to trace my father's father (Nicholas de Heer) side of the family who came from Delph in Holland and his wife Annie May Carr who came from Vange in England.

We believe that our ancestors moved around the world to America, Falkland Islands, Australia, New Zealand and there is a possibility to Canada..
