Martin De La Cruz was born in 1875 in Mexico and died in 1952 in Sugar Land, Fort Bend County, Texas. He and Jose De La Cruz (son) arrived in Texas from Mexico in the early 1900's. Martin's father was Clemente De La Cruz from Concorida, San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Martin's wife stayed in Mexico with two daugthers (Equiteria and Leonarda). He setteled in Seguin, Guadalupe County, Texas. He found out that his wife died in Mexico and returned there bringing the daugthers back to Texas. In Seguin, he met and married Romalda Villegas Rodriguez. He and Romalda had two sons (Alfredo and Juan De La Cruz). Alfredo De La Cruz married Maria de Jesus Hernandez Pina in Sugar Land, Fort Bend County, Texas. I am Alfredo's son and my name is Alfredo P. De La Cruz Jr.
