Joseph Eusébe Galipeau owned Galipeau Trucking and Canning Factory in McGregor, Ontario. He is one of the sons [ten children]of of Egile [Egide] Galipeau of Sutton Flats, Brome County, Quebec. Egile was born circa 1862, the only son with eight sisters of Joseph and Julie [Dufresne]of Sutton Flats. Egile came to Belle River, Ontario, with his parents and married Angele Drouillard of Anderdon. Egile was 27 years old and Angele was 14 year old. Egile died May 29,1930 and Angele died Oct.14,1947 Both are buried in St. Clements Cemetery in McGregor. I have researched the family tree back to Antoine Galipeau in France were he married Perinne Raineau DeDissay in doicece de Poitiers, Poitou, France in the 1600's. I am a self taught researcher not well versed in all of the complex components of genealogy but I wished to share my Galipeau Tree to assist others who may be "rookies" to this fascinating research. I would welcome any addition info or corrections to my logic in the quest. Daisy Dell
