I'm researching my paternal lineage, and any additional information will be appreciated! I will gladly share with anyone doing research on this with the best of intentions.

Guy R. DeLumeau is my grandfather, and he had 5 children with the surviving Doris Leppert. He died on June 4, 1998 - 2 days before I graduated from high school. Fortunately, I was at home while he passed away so I got to see him one last time. My grandmother Doris is living in Nevada.

I am interested in tracing the DeLumeaus back into France and to trace my maternal line of Lepperts as well. I remember my grandfather once telling me that the DeLumeau were vassals in France, and an oily lawyer swindled the family out of their chateau in France in early 1900s. He also quipped that my grandmother's side were peasants.
