I have done just a little bit of work to find ancestors in the de la Cova family. I do have a tree compiled by my father from various sources in his family, including a family journal that is very old. The journal has a nice history of the family of Juan Jose de la Cova of Isla Margerita VZ w/ Maria Josefa Herrera of Santo Domingo. It also contains family lore, perhaps legend, about the origen of the name and a tiny bit of history of the journeys of the family to Ireland, Venezuela, and the USA.
