The Perrault Delmar Family History contains research on the MOSIER, WILLIAMS, CULP, PERRAULT, O'NEILL, and DELMAR families. Relationships associated with these family trees include members of the MORIN, BREEDEN, HAWTHORNE and RAINER families.
Research is currently focused on the Mosier family tree. The research trail has stopped at Christian Mosier (b. 1820 in Georgetown, Floyd County, Indiana; d.1886) who married Sophronia Blair (b. 1833 in Harrison County, Indiana; d. 1892) in 1857 in Floyd County, Indiana. I am searching for information about their ancestors.
I believe that both the Mosier and Blair families may have settled in or around Philadelphia, PA before heading out to Indiana. Christian's name appears as "Moser" in the 1850 Indiana Census and pre-1950 Indiana Marriage Record, so it is possible that this branch of the family was using the "original German" spelling as opposed to the "French Alsatian" spelling that Christian later used and passed down to his descendants.
I would appreciate hearing from anyone who might have clues about Christian and Sophronia and will gladly share my information about their descendants.
