07/26/2010 UPDATE: It is with great sorrow that we have learned of the passing of Carla L. Ward, in West Palm Beach Florida, on January 17th, 2009. I mourn her loss with great regret.

At this time we are only seeking Gustav Roland Heck, my brother.

7/08/2008 UPDATE: Thanks to Ancestry.com, genealogy.com and Peoplefinder.com I was able to find my biological family. I have found that I am 1 of 5 children. I am in contact now with my sister and one brother. I will be starting another page soon to complete the picture. I have added a few pictures. Stay tuned.

7/14/2008 UPDATE: Once again thanks to Genealogy.com another family member has been located. My son Lloyd has been found! I was found on Genealogy.com and his adpted mother has contacted me here tonight. Unfortunately, the news is not all good. But, he is alive and has been living in Oklahoma. He is married and has three sons. There will be more to come as this unfolds.

We are still seeking Gustav "Roland" Heck. Roland was born to Edith heck in Germany and was adopted. If anyone has any information pertaining to Roland please contact me.

This is my adopted ancestral family as best I know it at present. My Children are listed with their ancestral family as best I know it. The whole and extended family surnames are Kierzel, Dull, DeSarro, Gajeski, Dell, Ward, Curtis, Squires, Ingalls, and Elston. For more on the biological names please see my biological family tree.

Additionally: My first grandson, Cameron Elston was born on April 15th 2008. His father is my son Matthew. My second grandson is born to my adopted daughter Marie. Shea was born on June 17th 2008.

I also have my first granddaughter, Kayleigh Lorraine Elston, who was born on September 5th of 2009.

I was born in Frankfurt am Main West Germany on July 07, 1964. My name at Birth was James Dean Heck. My birth mother was Edith Heck. Edith came from Gross-Gerau, Germany, just south of Frankfurt am main. Edith's brother's name is George and her sisters name is Alfreida. Edith's fathers name is Wilhelm Heck and his wife's name is Dorathea Posauner.

Two of my sons are named Robert Dell and Matthew Elston, who both live in Augusta Maine. I have an adopted daughter named Jan Marie Grant who now lives in Ellsworth Maine and she has a son named Shea and a daughter named Kambria.

I am a business owner, an Author, a Published Journalist, and a Historian. Although I am not a religious person I am an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church. I have attended New Hampshire College, Southern New Hampshire University and the University of Southern Maine.

I make my home in Brunswick Maine where I have lived since 1992.
