my father's family comes from the region of Lucania/ Basilicata , in the south of Italy , close to the border of Puglia ( my grandparents were born in Montemilone and Palazzo San Gervasio)
My father was born in Montecassino , in 1923 and had 2 brothers ;I myself was born in Cesena , Emilia Romagna ,Italy, no brotherhood , in 1957 and living in Paris ,France ,since 1986
We had some far relatives immigrated ,before 2nd World War , in the USA ,apparently living close to New York
My father used to remember that his family received parcels , from USA ,just after the war , but nobody seems to remember names or addresses and there was no contact since
I have three cousins in Rome and a "third degree" cousin in Rimini ,Italy
I think I'm the only one of my family living in France
