The DELANEY Families From Scotland to Canada

Updated January 5, 2003

About Our Family Research

Emigrating from Scotland to Ladysmith, BC, Canada in 1910, James Delaney started our branch of the family tree in Canada. He was the only surviving boy out of nine children, so the name was kept 'alive' and now numbers in the dozens of offspring.

I have a 2nd cousin here on Vancouver Island who has done a tremendous amount of research on our family tree for anyone out there who may want any information on our 'tree.'

My family had nine children (the same as my grandfather James!) and I am the seventh child.

All of the immediate children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren of James Delaney reside in British Columbia, Canada.

I Invite anyone who wishes any family information to contact me at the email address below.

Sincerely,

Robert (Rob) Delaney
