My grandfather was Dennis Joseph Mahony and he had five brothers, Patrick, John, Daniel, William and Jeremiah and three sisters, Minnie, Bridget and Kate. They all live at 69 Congress St, Rochester, New Hampshire. Their parents were Dennis Patrick Mahony and Bridget O’Brien. Dennis came to the United States by himself and ended up in Somersworth. Sometime later his wife Bridget O’Brien and their children Patrick, Jeremiah, William and Minnie followed and ended in the United States between 1872 and 1875. William was a baby and died on the way and was buried at sea. They first settled in Somersworth where Dennis was born and then moved to Milton where John and Bridget were born and finally end up on Congress Street where they spent their final days.
Dennis Joseph Mahony married Mary Elizabeth Hannon, Parents Patrick Hannon and Mary Cauley or Cawley of Somersworth and S. Brwick Maine.
