Research of the Depeel/DePeel family name has revealed an extensive family/ies living in the United States and through out parts of Canada. Despite the most valient efforts, details of our family history is somewhat sketchy and vague. However, genealogy is an enjoyable past-time that brings rich and wonderful rewards to the researcher and family.
Right now my focus is on Lambert and Catherine who lived in Ontario, Canada. Also, I am interested in discovering what happened to William and George DePeel, they were brothers who lived in Ontario, Canada for a time. They were possibly half brothers according to family legend. They were brothers to my grandfather, Lambert, who moved to Saskatchewan, Canada and eventually helped establish a now National Park named Candle Lake. He eventually died there, at the homestead that he built, and with his wife, Beatrice, raised five sons and five daughters all of whom married and raised sons and daughters of their own.
