Half of my research had aready been done on the Helms and Hornes by 2 of my cousins that live in the panhandle of FL. My Mother had started the Carters and the Sanders but did not get very far brfore she passed away. After mamy , mamy, and then some more hours I found a lead(1) My Great-grandfather(Zadoc Mumford Sanders) was in the Civil War in the 9th FL Infantry and mustered in in Alachua County, FL. It took several attemps and a trip to the cementry in Alachua to really get started. I am still is search for my g-grandfathers 1st wife Jane Theresa Bishop born in 1841 in SC . I only have the Carter family Bible with her name in it and that is all. HELP!!!

I am still loosing sleep and having a wonderful time. My g-grandfather Zadoc) married a 2nd time after Janes death and put a query out and WOW I have his entire family from the 2nd wife and we are having our 1st family reunion this March,2006
