Looking for Homa Family

Updated January 15, 2008

About Our Family Research

I was born John J. Homa at Misericordia Hospital in the Bronx, NY on September 26, 1960. I was given up for adoption shortly after birth to a couple in Wyandanch on Long Island. My birth parents were not married. My mother turned 16 shortly before my birth and had completed sophomore year of high school. She was an only child of Russian and Italian heritage and was Roman Catholic. She was 5'4" with dark hair and eyes. My birth father was 19 years old and of Polish and Irish background. He had completed high school and was planning to enlist in the military.
