The Jerry Lee Effinger, Sr. family began with the marriage of Jerry Lee to Mary Louise Moore of Evansville, IN on April 16, 1953. Jerry joined the US Navy and the two began traveling from assignment to assignment.
Every year around July 4, Jerry's siblings join for a family renuion in the Evansville area. Mary's siblings also join in as the Effinger's and Moore's were friends growing up.
Most of Jerry's and Mary's siblings reside in the Northern US area (IL, IN, KY). Jerry and Mary now reside in McRae, GA.
