I have have discovered that my great-great grandparents were founders of Ures,Sonora,Mexico(family names are Perez Caldera, Perez Ramirez and Ramirez Andrade). During the 1870's, my great-grandfather,Pedro Perez Caldera moved to Hermosillo, Sonora and married my great-grandmother, Loretto Coronado Moreno(mother's maiden name). My great-grandmother was born in Tucson, Arizona as was her mother, Maria Moreno but Loretto lived all of her married life in Hermosillo. She died at the age of 53 after having 17 children, only 8 survived. My grandmother,Enriqueta Esquer Perez was born in Hermosillo, Sonora as was my mother, Guillermina. However, the connection with Los Angeles where my mother and father eventually ended up and where I was born has existed many generations. I am looking for the linkages between Ures, Hermosillo, Tucson and Los Angeles as my family migrated back and forth. Any information on the history of Ures, in particular is appreciated.
