I started this family research about 10 years ago and I am sorry that I didn't pursue it then because most of my Aunts who would remember data have died. My Mother is still alive, but she has dimentia now. She gave me most of the information that I began with. I am researching DiDonato, Paolone, Costa, Scola, Iacobucci (Yacobucci) and Biasella. The Costa/Scola families are from Northern Italy -- Falcade in the Province of Belluno. The Iacobucci/Biasella families are from Castel di Sangro Province of L'Aquilla and the DiDonato/Paolone families are from Santo Stefano, Province of Molise. I am up to the 5th generation in the Costa/Scola families, but am stuck on the Iacobucci/Biasella families. I just got the name of the ship Gaetano Iacobucci came over on. I have not verified it yet. All I know are his father's name which was Michele Iacobucci and Maria Filomena's father's name which was Angelantonio. I found a brother of Gaetano Iacobucci's in Derry, Penna. His name was Joseph Iacobucci (spelled with a Y) I am still searching for most of the others. There is a possibility of a family reunion Costa/Scola in the making. Nothing else exciting at this time.
