I have been actively researching my family's genealogy for more than twenty years. I have published articles on the Smith family in the Beyond Germanna newsletter regarding the Smith family (English descent) in the Madison Co. VA area. In 1995, I published my Smith family genealogy titled The Descentants of Richard Smith of Northumberland County, Virginia. The book is currently out of print. I am now in the process of updating the book and hope to have in completed in 2005 or 2006.
